Business law and ethics are very much intertwined because ultimately the law is guided by social beliefs about right and wrong behavior Compliance with the law is considered an ethical choice Ethics are the moral principles that govern a person's behavior and choices What is considered ethical can vary among individuals, cultures governments, and even businesses Deciding what business practices to engage in goes beyond merely considering the legality of one's action
