2) Name at least two types of sales analyses that the controller might perform for the sales team. How would these help the sales team? a. Two types of sales analyses controllers could perform for the sales team are: performance and price analysis. Performance of the employees will show how each employee is doing in their sales. This will help the sales team by encouraging them to do better each week and hold them accountable. Price analysis will also help the sales team. Knowing what the potential sale amounts are will drive team members to meet the highest number of sales they can possibly reach. This will improve the overall efficiency of the sales team.
3) Breakeven Questions
What are the breakeven points for Widgets A, B, and C given the following information?
Fixed costs for A = 500, B = 500, C = 500
Pricing for A =$20, B= $30, C = $40
Variable costs for A =$10, B= $5, C= $20

4) Think of any large company. Look up their mission statement. What is their mission statement? Do you think this company lives up to their mission statement? Why or why not?
I chose to do this part on Hobby Lobby. Their mission statement is "offering our customers exceptional selection and value. Serving our employees and their families by establishing a work environment and company policies that build character, strengthen individuals, and nurture families." I believe that they live up to their mission statement by doing each of what they strive for. The stores have reasonable prices, and on top of that there is a sale
products at a likeable value. The stores always have respectful and pleasant employees, they are very welcoming, they are helpful, and they always make you feel a part of the Hobby Lobby family.
