Immigrants and Law enforcement
The rise of immigrants entering the U.s. has become an issue for the government. The Police and civilians have now become racist towards Hispanics if they were not before. The government has
encouraged people to report any unusual behavior. The government has allowed and requested Law enforcement to hold and assist with the prosecutions of illegal immigrants. They even allow citizens to shoot immigrants near the board if they are suspected cross. These incidents include women and children as well. (In 1996, Congress passed legislation expanding the role of local law enforcement. U.S.
immigration officers.) The local Law enforcement has become aware and is unclear how to handle the request. They have issued a request back stating they need more money to up the manning to maintain the request. The legal issue is having to hold the immigrants or even question them without probable cause. Law enforcement began requesting that they create a procedure to monitor racial profiling ageist authorities and further research these issues before holding or arresting any immigrants. Misunderstandings:
Immigrants Law Enforcement Misunderstanding
Misunderstanding has become an everyday thing now. Hispanics are scared. They are afraid to drive or even call the Police for assistance. As a CPR 911 article reported, many immigrants have two strikes against them in low-income neighborhoods. To further address the Hispanic community is used to being charged a bill for ambulance rides or any hospital visit. They are unaware that these services can be free or that they can even see free clinics in an emergency. The Police killed Rojas on May 28, 2010. Rojas was arrested and deported after twenty-seven years of living in San Deigo. Rojas was returning to his home to his wife and children. A video was captured, showing Police tazing Rojas five times while he was handcuffed and surrounded by agents. The agents and Police insisted he stop resisting as the victim cried for help. Helps both sides build a partnership allowing culture differences to develop. Helps teach children both the importance of safety and how police can help the community. Helps build trust with local immigrant agencies and refugee groups.

Helps Law enforcement to better understand the communities they work in. Helps both sides to learn each other's language by hiring translators. Helps build rust with local refugee groups so immigrants do not have to fear them.
