I think decisions should be made using intuition, experience, and data, not just one of them. Your gut feeling and past experiences can affect how someone is punished, but using data analysis can show how serious the crime was and who did it. In the TED Talk by Anne Milgram, she said that relying on instincts and past experience in the criminal justice system hasn't worked. But I think that using data analytics could make the system much better. I think that sometimes intuition, experience, and data analytics can be wrong. Intuition might lead people astray as it is not very effective at recognizing errors. Data can be right or wrong.
