I decided on Serial Murderer: Aileen Wuornos, I have always been fascinated with murder documentaries and watching people who have been caught and watching their police interrogation interviews. It has always intrigued me what goes on in the mind of a killer, and Aileen Wuornos was famous for being one of the first female serial killers !!! I have seen a bunch of documentaries on her, and I have to say she had a very interesting mindset and even know her last meal before being put to death was a single cup of plain black coffee. She was convicted of committing crimes against men, she stated multiple times she was raped and abused by the men she killed. In the span of one year, she shot and killed seven, and she claimed they all raped and abused her which forced her to use self-defense and kill them. She tried multiple times to get out of the death penalty by doing interviews and stating it was all self- defense however her desperate pleas for proving she was innocent were ignored and was put to death on October 9th of 2002. Looking into her past, she was mentally, physically, and sexually abused by her grandfather and abandoned by her mother. Her grandmother was an alcoholic and didn't tend to any of her or her younger brother's adolescent needs. She didn't have any positive role model in her life to explain the differences between right and wrong, during the sexual abuse with her grandfather she ended up pregnant with a son who she ended up putting up for adoption and that is traumatizing for anyone let alone someone that has been put through so much abuse and neglect on top of that situation.
