Limitations Prosecutors have a highly important job to put criminals away. They must take many things into consideration to accurately use their crimes to put them away. Criminal prosecutors also have limitations because they do not take social and cultural factors into consideration (Bartol & Bartol, 2020). Another limitation is that not every person that has a certain biological characteristic will act the same way (Psychological Theory, 2022). Just like we are taught from a young age no one person is alike. This should be used in the court room as well. Say there is a man who is being charged with attacking a woman pulling a woman's hijab and a man being prosecuted for attacking a woman and removing a hat. Both of these men have committed a crime but the man that took a woman's hijab committed another crime. Most people wouldn't even think about the act of this being another crime in the U.S. In the muslim community woman must be completely covered minus their eyes. This is why they must wear their hijab and they can even be punished for not wearing it. Motivational Factors Age is a motivational factor for committing crimes because of when the brain is fully developed. The part of the brain that controls risks is not fully developed until the age of 25 and this is when the ages of people to commit crimes tend to go down (Goldstein, 2015). Another factor for this is teenagers who hang out with the wrong crowd and her rebelling against their parents. These children often commit petty small crimes. The older a person gets the less likely they are to commit crimes.
