Summary
Frank Timmons was born in 1964 as the second youngest child to Billy and Loretta in a
large metropolitan city. His father was demanding and verbally abusive to the family, and his
mother was not actively there for her youngest children. Frank's parents divorced when he was
12; his mother passed away soon after that. His older sister, Margaret, who raised Frank, was
mentally unstable, alcoholic, verbally and sexually abused him. Timmons and his siblings
outlived DES and food stamps. Frank didn't perform well; however, he was an excellent football
player. During high school, police arrested him multiple times for robbery, assault, and rape, but
no charges were filed (SNHU, n.d.). While in his twenties, Frank was charged for DUI,
trespassing, robbery, abduction, and rape. The judge sentenced Frank to a total of 36 years in
prison. After 13 years, he was released because of his excellent behavior. He moved in with his
wife Jenny Nelson and, shortly after, began working in construction. Soon after his parole,
multiple cases of robberies, sexual assaults, and murders occur in the town. Timmons's family,
friends, and coworkers keep his innocence, but his parole officer suspects Frank's "Serial
Murderer" description. Police obtained a warrant to search his house, recovering a ski mask and
a toy handgun. Also, they found DNA and other evidence connected to the crimes committed by
the Timmons (SNHU, n.d.).

Hypothesis
The feel of negligence and abuse during his childhood from his father and sister
transformed Frank into an angry and abusive man, increasing his violence and hatred toward
women. Aamodt & Moyse (2003) claim that the growth of a serial killer is abuse experienced in
the killer's childhood. During the studies, about 40 percent of the serial killers reported being
physically abused in their childhood. More than 70 percent of offenders said they witnessed or
were sexually abused as children (Ressler & Scachtman, 1992).
Timmons was a quiet person, keeping his truth hidden and protected by his family and
friends. He was deceit, liar, manipulator, and psychopath on other occasions. To Timmons,
aggression, violence, and pain inflicted on his victims aroused him (Bartol & Bartol, 2016). To
qualify for a sexually aggressive rapist, he needs to demonstrate "A level of aggression and
violence exceeding what is necessary to force compliance of the victim, and the explicit.
evidence that aggression is sexually exciting him" (Bartol & Bartol, 2016). Timmons committed
abduction, rape, bludgeoning, sexual assault, robbery, and murder, classifying him as a serial
killer, sex offender, and psychopath.
According to the positivist's perspective, criminal behavior results from biological,
sociological, and psychological influences (Bartol & Bartol, 2016). Motivation for Timmons's
terrible crimes may come from his cumulative risk factors of engaging in criminal behavior. He
grew up in a large city. His parents were verbally abusive. Timmons's
