For my final project I choose the case of John Wayne Gacy (Pogo the Clown), he raped and murdered 33 young men and boys in the span of six years. For the assignment, I choose Gerardo Beltran off the FBI's most-wanted list. He is wanted for the sexual assault of four females in 1991.
Some differences between these two cases 1. Gacy sexually assaulted males whereas Beltran assaulted females 2. Gacy murdered his victims, Beltran did not 3. Gacy assaulted over 30 males, Beltran assaulted 4 females 4. Gacy was caught and sentenced, and Beltran has yet to be caught
Some similarities between these cases 1. they both used their "role of power" to lure their victims, Beltran was a priest who used his power to gain trust and Gacy dressed as Pogo the Clown to lure his victims 2. both cases pertain to the sexual assault of minors 3.
