Summary
Frank Timmons was born in 1964 into a large family. He was one of thirteen children
living with a single parent since his parents divorced. Frank's mother was an often-absentee
parent leaving care of the younger children to the older siblings. Frank's mother passed away
when he was only 12 years old leaving him with a verbally abusive and alcoholic father. His
sister Margaret was Frank's main caregiver, but she was also an alcoholic, verbally abusive, had
trouble maintaining jobs and relationships, and she was often suicidal. Frank excelled in sports
but did not graduate high school because he didn't have enough credits. His siblings said that
Frank was often working to make money to help support the family.
During Frank's younger years, he was arrested for multiple offenses including rape,
trespassing, and driving under the influence. A few years later, Frank Timmons was charged with
brutally raping and assaulting a woman and he was sentenced to 15 years for the abduction and
21 years for the robbery. This was the first time Frank spent a large amount of time in prison.
After spending only 13 years in prison, Frank was paroled, and he moved into a house
with his wife while worked as a construction worker. Timmons was well liked by his neighbors
even though they knew he spent a significant amount of time in prison. About a year after Frank
was paroled from prison, the murders began. Frank committed many crimes within a four-mile
distance from his home including, robberies, sexual assaults, molestations, abductions, and nine
total murders. His neighbors, friends, family, and wife all defended him and believe he is
innocent.

Frank Timmons was a serial offender and committed several crimes to include
abductions, sexual assaults, physical assault, robberies, rape, and murder. Frank targeted women
but didn't appear to have an apparent motive. Even though there doesn't seem to be a motive.
there are many risk factors for Frank's crimes.
We can look at Timmons childhood and how he was raised for answers. Timmons
mother was absent leaving him to be raised by older siblings, his father and sister were verbally
abusive alcoholics, and his mother dies when he was 12. Frank started out his criminal career by
raping a woman with his brother, but no charges were pursued. His sister was said to be sexually
abusive towards Frank which could contribute to the reason Frank abducted and raped several
women. The combination of being sexually abused as a child and getting away with his first
rape, Frank felt he could continue with his criminal career.
Frank was often aggressive and rough when he played sports in high school, this might
have been either learned behavior or anger from abuse when he was a child. Frank may have
chosen women a
