Personal Branding

How would you describe your personal brand? How do you represent yourself to the world? Explain using examples. 1-1 Discussion: Personal Brand Personal branding reminds me a lot of personal growth. If someone is working on their personal brand, they're most likely working on how they carry and present themselves based on their actions. "Personal branding is a planned process in which people make efforts to market themselves." (Kheder ,20). I would describe my personal brand artistic, and maybe a little nerdy. I have been working towards my bachelor's degree in creative writing and English for awhile now, and I represent that part of myself to the world through a blog and sharing my stories with the world. I also run an Etsy shop that has its own brand, with my name as part of the title. I believe by the actions I take is how I represent myself to the world Whether it is educationally or even financially with the career paths that I have taken I would say artistic and nerdy fit my brand. Artistic because of my writing and the Etsy shop I run. Nerdy due to the line of work I have been in, working at video game stores and having a lot of useless knowledge of pop culture and the gaming world. "Individual brand management involves making oneself attractive for a particular person or audience..." (Khedher, 20). I think these brands work for me because they attract people who have similar tastes and interests that allow me to share and market to likeminded people. Works Cited Khedher, Manel.
