Introduction
Before you can manage the process and performance of your program, you must a have
clear vision mapped out and a strategic plan in place. The first step an organization can take to
ensure there are good solid measure is to create a score card. Measurements is important to the
success of any program. If you don't measure you can't manage! Measuring and collecting data
is the at the center of any program implementation. Every project should require metric that are
unique and align with the goal and purpose of the program. To make sure the metrics are aligned
with the purpose and goal of the program the following three steps should be considered
So that the project will work the goals should be understood
To succeed and achieve the project goals, success factors should be determined and
fulfilled
Factors should be measured
Methods for Measuring Success
To accurately evaluate the chronic illness self-management program, we will use
quantitative and qualitative techniques. During the qualitative evaluation, the project manager
will analyze and identify the participants knowledge before going through the program and after
the completion of the program (Paulheim, 2017). The success of the training provided by the
public relations firm for code of ethics will be determined by analyzing how the staff responds to
questions drawn from particular issues. During this analysis, project leaders and trainers will
execute an assessment detailing key component of ethics and communication. The results of the
assessment will determine if the training equip the team with the necessary knowledge to
conduct business honestly and with integrity.
Evaluation Methodologies
Output of the program will also be evaluated based the response to questions regarding
legal scenarios present to the participants during the training session (Wildemuth, 2016). These
questions will require the trainers and instructors of the program to explain possible legal
concepts either in a group setting or on individual basis. Additional analysis will be made by
presenting individuals with a scenario to debate and the feedback from the debate will be used to
determine their level of knowledge. After the training phase, each participant will take part in a
simulation where each person will assume the role of the patients as well as the trainer. The
project manager will evaluate each participant on how well he or she can handle given situations
and give recommendation for improvements if needed. The results from the simulation will be
used to determine how well the individual can perform the assigned duties in the program.
Consequently, determining the success of the program.
Data Gathering
As previously mentioned, through different avenues such as interviews, observation,
brainstorming, and questionnaires is how the data will be collected (Paradis et al., 2016). During
the simulation, observation is the method that will be used. Observers and management will
provide feed back based on the perception of the process. Additionally, mysteriou
