Healthcare Data Management HIM220

Running head: Milestone Two: EHR Selection Final Project Milestone Two: EHR Selection Teishalyn Erkard-Intravichit Southern New Hampshire University TITLE OF DOCUMENT 2 This entity encompasses a broad range of services, from ER to Pharmacy, and includes clinics and specializations that will more than likely require the ability to share healthcare information not only within its own network, but also be able to electronically share that information outside of its own system. Taking the wide scope that this hospital covers coupled with its need to securely and quickly enter, share, and store information -- I would recommend that this entity considers the WRS Health Web EHR and Practice Management System as the best possible solution to its current and future needs. WRS provides fully integrated, web based EHR and practice solutions with simplified workflows that remove the need for unnecessary tasks and data entry. As a practice management and electronic medica record repository it provides cloud-based access for both provider and patients, easing the need for analog record keeping and easing the ability to share information between departments, providers, or government entities. As this provider not only provides services in the hospital setting, but other external clinics and practices (i.e., Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Neurology). This system covers the meaningful use definition of CMS with the improvement of quality, safety, efficiency, care coordination, and the engagement of patients with the extension of the patient portal available within the WRS system. Within that patient portal, regular communications and ability to view their own health information, request necessary refills, and review all testing results, with full communication capabilities with providers offices makes this an optimal selection for this entity. As this system would also allow for efficient connectivity by seamless architecture and cloud-based access, no need for bulky and maintenance heavy servers, direct access for all necessary parties, lab connections and device integration ability all needed access within this network would be covered and is scalable as needed.[ CITATION WRS21 \l 1033 ] TITLE OF DOCUMENT Works Cited WRS Health.
