CASE STUDY ANALYSIS MILESTONE FOUR Case Study Analysis Engstrom Auto Mirror Plant: Motivation in Good Times and Bad Times Kimberley A. Woodward Southern New Hampshire University 1|P a ge CASE STUDY ANALYSIS MILESTONE FOUR With my previous employments, I am going to focus on different organizational issues that I encountered while working to preserve facilities from being closed due to bankruptcy. These facilities were small residential assisted living and group homes. Many times, larger corporations will by care facilities as part is a package deal and this was the case with the facility that I'm going to discuss in this paper. The name of the facility will be known as Sunny Knoll. Several organizational issues that came up were ineffective managers, a breakdown in communication among all departments not only between staff and management. Specifically, at Sunny Knoll lack of honesty, communication failures and staffing issues along with working conditions of the first things that were on my agenda when the work on a full and helping me the facility from bankruptcy and try to bring it back into compliance with state agencies. Staffing issues were the high-priority and after holding several townhome meetings and asking the employees what worked and what did not work, was the working conditions. The attitude of the them against because added more pressure to the situation that needed to be alleviated immediately. Many of the employees reported that all the things that they needed to get done to take care of the residents properly along with additional duties because of staff cutbacks made it nearly impossible to achieve the quality of care they felt the residents deserved. As Newstrom (2015) stated "The idea of productivity does not imply that one should produce more output; rather, it is a measure of how efficiently one produces whatever output is desired. Consequently, better productivity is a valuable measure of how well resources are used in society" (Newstrrom, 2015 p. 22) I found it quite intriguing that when the Chie
