Q: Who is Smartronix? A: Smartronix supports critical infrastructures by providing technology and engineering solutions. Q: Tell me about yourself (60 second sell): A: I am a cybersecurity student with 3 years customer experience delivering notable results. My last job required strong communication, technical and analytical skills as we provided hardware and software troubleshooting to many clients over the phone. I also helped our company by updating documentation of specific troubleshooting problems and reporting bugs so that we can improve efficiency thus resulting in less phone calls into the office. I always proved to my employers that I was flexible and adaptable, by frequently taking new tasks and picking up new skills at my internships. I have also trained new team members by drawing upon my extensive experience to solve complex problems and deal with difficult customers. By studying in school and gaining work experience I hope to become a professional in the field of digital forensics. Explain one process you improved one about article or bugs One process I improved was our Time change process, essentially every year our uPunch timeclock customers would have to adjust to their clocks to get the correct time on their punchcards. A: Sometimes in my quest to get things accomplished I tend to overlook some details, so I have learned to take a step back and reflect before finalizing the finished project. I feel like my coding assignments in school have allowed me to hone in on my attention to detail. Q: What is an example of a project you had to plan for? A: My first python programming class I ever took I was presented with 2 projects where I had to create a textfibased adventure game in Pseudocode first and then real code.( basis was you are a detective who has to collect 6 items of evidence in different rooms by moving around (south, north etc,) or the criminal would get away.) Creating the pseudocode and flowchart helped me logically outline what steps I with in anticipation that I could run into bugs. While running into errors in my code, I took advantage of open source dev communities to see if others had run into similar problems and how they overcame them. Once I had a finished project I tested through different scenarios to ensure my code was working properly. Q: What is a time you overcame a problem and how? A: When I was interning in the IT dept at Frontwave CU we were expecting security auditors sometime within the week to come and attempt to breach our network. Since we were not aware when they would show, it was important to implement port security to ensure we wouldn't be completely vulnerable. This didn't fix the problem since port security only limits what addresses are allowed to enter the network and send traffic on individual switchports. When they did breach our network however I was notified immediately
