When it comes to running a business today, Internet is a very important tool that is needed to run efficiently. When choosing an internet service provider, it's important to look at stability, speeds offered, and overall positive reviews. Have an unreliable Internet Service Provider that routinely goes down throughout the day will slow down your employee's efficacy and overall your business which is un acceptable. When researching internet service providers in Fayetteville, NC the one that stuck out to me was CenturyLink. CenturyLink offers affordable internet connectivity with speeds up to 940 mbps. This was the highest speed in the area that I could find which is important to run a company of this size and all of its gadgets. 940 MBPS download and upload speeds will have employees carrying out their job duties effortlessly without any slowdowns. As far as configurations for this office we need to get them set up with Microsoft office. Microsoft office will provide access to applications such as outlook, Microsoft word, excel, and teams. After getting set up with the latest Microsoft office package, we will get a modem that supports gigabits super-fast internet speeds. One of the modems that CenturyLink recommends is the zyxel c300z. This modem supports Wi-Fi connections up to 2.4 ghz and 5ghz as well as 940 mbps internet speeds. The router that I have chose to go with is the C4000 BG CenturyLink router which can support gigabit speeds. We will also go with a managed switch which will be the netgear 8 port switch. This set up and CenturyLink's 940 mbps will offer optimal bandwidth to keep the employees working smoothly. They will be able to share and download files with little to no interruptions The printer that I would like to go with is the HP LaserJet Pro M479fdn color laser printer. This printer offers ethernet cable connections as well as a wireless connection. This printer not only offers printing, but it can make copies, scan papers, and send faxes.
