Pop Culture and Society

As a new Anthropologist I thought that it would be interesting to do research of cultural works from the year of 2021. From doing research for the year of 2021, I found that pop culture was at its most popular time. Pop culture is a modern culture that is transmitted through mass media and is aimed particularly for a younger audience. This specific culture influences the interaction between people in everyday activities. From the way pop culture influences people to dress to how it influences that way that people speak. Some would say slang which is also short for 'Short Language'. One of the characteristics that I found fascinating throughout my research is how pop culture affects society. Let me explain why, in 2020 pop culture moments is what helped most survive that year during that pandemic which was Covid-19. Some say that pop culture are the moments that kept them sane, occupied and distracted throughout the hard time. The purpose of pop culture is to suppress the masses. Popular culture is folk culture, which is basically the culture of the people. While researching even further through pop culture I found the creator of it. William Shakespeare, intended for pop culture to change during the renaissance period in England which he did achieve, but he wanted to spread pop culture beyond his point of living which is exactly what he did because pop culture was especially at its highest point of popularity in 2021. The most rudimentary effect of pop culture is how it strengthens interactions with people who are into the same kind of things. Pop culture has impacted people in so many ways because people celebrate the culture with things like Comic-Con which helps merge bonds between different people who have different backgrounds. The importance of pop culture is to influence others, to give people ideas about things to do or try. Things that they might have never done before. Pop culture was created for the people not by the people. This culture has helped many form a sense of identity, shape themselves into being who they were intended on being or dreamed of being. Culture and Expression show a relationship by how powerful the impact of culture on creative expression for others. William Shakespeare meant for pop culture to spread beyond his point of living he also wanted to grab his audience's attention with his books and plays, but all in fairness I do not believe that is how pop culture is for 2021. I believe that pop culture was a way to escape the reality of all the disasters happening around the people. I believe that in 2021 pop culture was not only for artists to express themselves, but it was a way for others to express themselves in different ways. For example, some like country culture the way that they express themselves is the style of their clothes, how they make a living and sometimes it can be the way the walk or the way
