The company has a reputation for offering high quality all-natural pet foods and toys and has experience tremendous growth over the past 5 years (Armstrong, G., & Kotler, P., 2015). This product overview of Infused Rewards for Pets will include a SWOT matrix, describe the target market, identify and describe the specific wants and needs of this target market, identify recommended marketing strategy, and recommend which marketing strategy to avoid. The company's motto is "Because your pet is part of the family" and the company is seen by its customers as a leader in offering high-quality products and food, so we want to leverage these into our marketing campaign. We want to branch off the company's reputation of high-quality to bolster the all-natural healthy ingredients and with the assortment of flavors for both cats and dogs we bring it back to family. The company could also use this SWOT to plan for future marketing opportunities like pet parties at retail stores where pet owners could bring their cats and dogs to taste test the assortment of treats to determine their pets' favorite flavors. It could also be used to identify and plan for strategies to eliminate their weaknesses like developing ways to increase product shelf-life. The SWOT analysis allows for SNHU Pet Supply to plan for the best and prepare for the worst. Having an assortment of flavors is a strength because customer will have many options to choose from and there for more likely to buy more to try them all. Offering the product to both cats and dogs is a strength because by offering to both maximizes market offerings. Having a large marketing budget is a strength because the product will not be limited by a lack of exposure. This also give opportunity to explain why the product is so pricy. Weaknesses Having a price tag that is 10% higher than competition is a weakness because it also opens the door for competitors to produce similar product at a cheaper price. Only being offered on website and flagship stores is a weakness because it limits our market presence. The product having a short shelf life is also weakness
