Restructuring Status Report
I was hired as the new Cyber Security technician for the company. It is my job and duty
to make sure that the network is safe and setup securely to avoid any sort of data breaches. As
my first assignment I have been tasked with creating a new configuration for the new office.
Using the template, I was able to produce how the network should look and have included a
diagram/screenshot below of what it looks like. I also was able to provide a chart of the new
VLAN setup as well for each switch and included what the current setup is with adjustments as
well as the additions I made. I also was tasked with making or creating rules on the firewall to
either allow or block access. My first screenshot below is of the network diagram I have created

According to this screenshot I have made sure that all computers are in the correct area
and connected to the correct switch as well as made sure that the firewall and network is
connected to the internet as well. Now the below screenshot is what I was tasked with next of
making sure the VLAN and port selections were correct.
