Multi-Generator for Rural Areas in India

RUNNING HEAD: MILESTONE ONE Milestone One By: Ryan Franklin RUNNING HEAD: MILESTONE ONE 2 Rationale Husk Power Systems is looking to do a startup on a generator that will produce electricity in rural areas in India. The company wants to provide the rural communities in India with electricity that the citizens do not have to pay for. I propose a multi-generator that uses solar panels and wind turbines to generate electricity. Having two ways to produce electricity througl the generators will allow the company to produce electricity during sunny days, cloudy days. windy days, or during thunderstorms. This will fit into the company's plan as this will allow the free usage of electricity to their citizens. Wind and solar panels are ways that the company can produce electricity that they will have to use a big budget to operate. Problem or Opportunity The citizens of India believed that electricity to be free for them to use, which came from a promise from the Indian Government to provide free electricity to rural villages. This multi- generator allows the company to provide the citizens free electricity by using nature to produce and generate the power grid to give power to all. This opportunity will be able to provide the villages with the electricity which can be used whether it is cloudy or sunny. This will allow the being energized so that during the night, it will still have charge throughout the night to provide power to the citizens. Also, the wind will provide power to the system so that it will stay energized. Combining these two sources, the citizens will have to worry about having no power at night, during storms, or sunny without any wind. This multi-generator will solve the problem that the company is having to provide power to the citizens of India. RUNNING HEAD: MILESTONE ONE 3 Company The company is trying to help the economy grow by giving electricity for free to its citizens. Giving free electricity to their citizens will allow them to advertise to other parts of the world that they can live in India without having to worry about electricity in their homes. This new product will allow them to provide this service to the customers while using nature to fuel the generators to produce the electricity to them effectively and at all times. This new innovative product will allow the company to get a competitive advantage over other companies. While other companies are trying to improve their current products, this new multi-generator will be a game-changer in the field of electricity. Also, in addition to value-adding innovations in products and services, innovation in management, production, and supply chain value-adding processes is fertile ground for creating and sustaining organizational competitive advantage (Caldwell & Anderson, 2017). The management and production will allow the company to be able to keep the competitive advantage by creating a new standard on producing electricity another way than what they use now. This product will allow the company to give citizens
