You have some good information, but need to refine in a few areas. For example, the inventory approach was not identified. MRP is a system that can be leveraged for handling your inventory approach. You still need to decide the inventory approach to be leveraged within the MRP and this can vary depending on raw material, finished good, etc. As you move forward with component 2, expand your requirements so they are more organized and detailed. Consider using a project requirements template. You also want to determine what your capacity is based on your actual constraints and the need to continue making the other PBM products. This is an addition and you need to decide what machines are open and for how long. The capacity plan is based on efficiency in using available resources. Demand will come later. Your process flowchart should be the actual production process of he new product. This is the process to make one unit and not the work that happens before you get to the product launch - those are project tasks that might be in your project plan. Let me know if any questions.
For the manufacturing product scenario, you will create a manufacturing and inventory plan that addresses the following:

Resource Staffing Plan This component shall be accompanied by a 12-15 (including charts and/or graphs) page report detailing the rationale behind each of the major items outlined in the manufacturing/service plan. This will include the detail to support each constituent of the plan and any calculations or graphics that fully depicts the overall plan.
PBM Plastics a subsidiary of PBM Products, is a manufacturing company who "developed
its patented Melt-Phasing Forming technology, which combines the advantages of
thermoforming and blow molding, and modified its manufacturing with automation innovation to
enhance the new process" (Bowers, 2005). The new proposed product to PMB Plastics is a new
liner with an adjustable cap that can be interchangeable. The interchangeable cap will have a
connection for pumping and one for inserting regular formula. With this solution, mothers will
save money by only having one liner in case they stop breastfeeding and want to switch over to
regular formula or if they use both. With this new liner the caps can be changed at any time, the

milk can be stored, frozen, and warmed up all in the same liner. It can connect directly to any
breast pump and the mother can fill the liner directly from pumping without having to worry
about a mess. The new products will align very well to the products that the company already
