1 Epidemiology Milestone 7: A Novel Corona Outbreak: Population: The case study is on the novel coronavirus outbreak, based on the first cases reported in Wuhan City - Hubei Province - China in December 2019. The epicenter was China, with its huge geographic ranges and a population of nearly 1.428 billion in 2017. The country has provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and some special administrative regions such as Hong Kong and Macau. The population's direct demography indicates 70%, 17%, and 13% who are between 15 and 59 years old, less than 40 year-olds and over sixtieth-four. The nation has experienced fast urbanization and development with the longest road and railway systems. On the other hand, these developments have problems, including air pollution, pervasive smoking and public health risks even from past epidemics such as SARS. This background is essential in appreciating the magnitude and possible ramifications of coronavirus development posed by such a populous and interconnected state. Three social and behavioral factors were instrumental in driving the dynamics of the outbreak in a case study of the novel coronavirus.
