The case study Salmonella in the Caribbean consist of Salmonella in Trinidad & Tobago.
There were many risk factors for the local town and of tourist in the area. This region depends
on the tourist to keep the economy up. Therefor it is crucial that the region stays reputable
tourist attraction.
Salmonella is a common bacterial disease that effects the intestinal tract. You often hear of
salmonella live in animal and human intestines and are present in feces. If most cases humans
are infected through contaminated water, food or under extreme unsanitary conditions.
Salmonella is most commonly found in a variety of foods such as poultry, fruits, vegetables,
beef and processed foods.
Salmonella can easily be prevented by keeping foods separated, proper cleaning and
outbreak such as health inspectors, food handlers permits and sanitizing
