1. Primary: Attempts to prevent the illness from happening
2. Secondary: Attempts to stop a disease before it becomes more of an issue
3. Tertiary: Attempts to minimize the issues caused from an illness
Part 2 Describe interventions for each level of prevention for lung cancer for smokers.
4. Primary: Increase prices of cigarettes and increase the taxes for purchasing
5. Secondary: Routine health screening to make sure patients have not started smoking. If a patient has started smoking, discuss risks of smoking, including lung cancer.
