In this discussion, you will use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition fiDSM-5) to arrive at a diagnosis for a client and discuss it with your peers Arriving at an accurate diagnosis is a required component of the client assessment. For this assignment, you will read an abbreviated case example, review the DsM-5 criteria, and use a worksheet derived from the DsM-5 to arrive at a diagnosis. Read this case study PDF 2. Identify the substance being abused, and read that portion of the DSM-5 by accessing this Shapiro Library resource. On that site, note how the section quick links may cover the content when you move to a new section. To view the content, simply click anywhere in the white or text area. To make the quick links reappear, click the bulleted list icon at the top left of the screen. 3. Download and complete the DSM-5 Worksheet Word Document and arrive at a diagnosis, including the correct ICD-10-CM diagnostic code. You will also be using this worksheet to identify Joe Smith's diagnosis for your final project. 4. Create an initial post in the discussion, indicating your diagnosis and attaching your completed worksheet. Note that you will be graded individually and not as a group 5. Review your peers' responses and compare them with yours 6. Post additional messages/responses, indicating areas of agreement and disagreement. Your responses should be addressed to everyone in the group, not a specific member. Support your position or indicate any changes you would make based on evidence provided by the others.
