Emotional Wellness

2-1 Discussion: Wellness and You The most relevant dimension I selected is Emotional Wellness List three factors that you think could help people improve their levels of wellness, and then list three challenges that you think people could face regarding that dimension . Exercise relieves endorphins that boost mood and help to clear one's mind as well as reduce stress. . Building a strong support system-connecting with others keeps one from isolating themselves. having someone to connect with will ensure that they are not alone. Seek professional treatment-seeing a counselor will give a sense of direction as well as seeing someone that can prescribe medications that would make it easier to cope with daily stressors. Challenges one may experience relating to Emotional Wellness would be: Lack of interest or motivation-having difficulties concentrating and focusing on daily tasks can cause issues with holding a steady job Relationship issues-lack of communication to have a healthy relationship being able to communicate in an appropriate manner is needed. Self-harm not being willing to accept help can lead to failure to cope with life stressors which then can lead to suicidal thoughts or actions. An event involving emotional Wellness that I have seen would be the suicide of a close friend. after the devastating event I was lost and confused on why it had happened he was a father of two and always seemed so happy This event made me realize you never really know what someone is going through or may be struggling with. I know now that mental health can be completely invisible to everyone around, I will never just assume that someone is as happy and healthy as they may seem. turned my life upside down I have little energy desire or focus which affects my job family and relationship with my husband I understand that I am not alone and reaching out for guidance does not make you weak but actually shows how strong you really are COVID-19 has affected many people and concerns to mental health.
