The link between stressful life events and the origin and development of depression has been extensively studied, and a growing body of evidence supports this link. Environmental factors may affect individuals in different ways, thus triggering adaptive responses to stress, depending on the psychological and biological aspects of the interaction between stressors and individual resources. Psychological aspects include all cognitive processing associated with incoming information; subjective assessment of various characteristics associated with stressors, : Range and longevity, predictability and controllability; and potential resources to process it .

problems if not treated early on. It can cause weight gain and insomnia and insomnia can cause other health issues like cancer, IBS and heart disease. Its a danger to others
Deviance: Describe the extent to which the selected behavior deviates from normality. Abnormalities can be defined as deviations from ideal mental health. Anything that deviates from this is considered anomalous.
