IT 210 Milestone One Introduction: In this section, you will briefly introduce the small business from the case scenario, and the problem that it is trying to solve. The name of my store is called The Pretentious Pursuer a high fashion store for men and women in University park in Dallas Texas. They have a website that is just basic and they have a part time person that helps run it and they have no social media presence at all. The problem they are trying to solve is to tap into the mobile and social media market to make more money so they can open up a second location in New York, New York. Identify and briefly describe the two technologies from the list provided that you will research in your business systems analysis. The two technologies I want to focus on to help the store make more money is social computing and that would include E-mail, discussion forums, messenger clients. Examples would include all the social networks, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Also teaming up with social media fashion influencers would help with brand awareness and help with revenue goals. The second technology would be wireless, mobile computing, and mobile commerce. Examples would include, Mobile marketing, coupons, and loyalty cards and also mobile browsing and purchasing on a app. Explain the objectives of undertaking this project to integrate new technology. In others words. what should the project accomplish, and how does it support the goal of your business? Some of the objectives to integrate the technology into the business would be, 1. Reduce management cost, this will help by automating the E-commerce process and digital marketing This will free up the time spent acquiring new customers and sales and be able to focus on other task and the money saved can help with upstart cost for the expansion plans. 2. Studies say that Google may next rank a website based on its mobile website. It means that anv website that has a responsive design would be ranked on top of the website that does not have one.
