CS 360 7-2 Inventory App Project 3 Kathryn Snow Snow Hill Herb Seeds app is a small inventory application created to assist the employees at Snow Hill Herb Seed Company keep accurate accounts of their seed count. The application allows the user to add or remove seed packets as they are created or sold. The application has a secure sign up and sign in component and SMS text messaging. SMS text messaging helps notify everyone when the count is low for a type of seed. The graphic below from Adobe Stock is a good graphic representation for this application. The application should run easily on most android devices since it is a basic application with no graphics and was created for both new and older versions of the android system. The application asks permission to send and receive SMS texts in Manifest, but it does not utilize audio or video communication. Since this application was created for a very limited number of users it will not be monetized. However, if the application were to be expanded for use as an inventory system for general use ads could be added and there could be a small one-time fee for the use. Imagining further plant related expansion, the herbs could be described by how they grow best, what they can be used for, facts about their chemical and food safety makeup, and the history of their use in a variety of settings. For example, elderberry flowers and berries are used in a variety of recipes from baked goods to liquor. Recipes could be included.
