Hi All!
We made it to week 8! I wish you all the best as you move
I've had the chance to review the Global Reporting Initiative: Sustainability Reporting Guidelines and I do think that publicly traded companies here in the U.S. should adopt them as their matrix for corporate social responsibility practices. Especially in current times when society is doing their part to lessen their negative impacts and in turn are expecting corporations to do their part as well. The guidelines provided within the report are quite thorough and cover the aspects that are essential in sustainability, which are environmental, economic, and social. Moreover, companies that adopt these guidelines can rest
transparent. I wouldn't suggest adding or removing any guidelines as I feel the report contains all the necessary information that a corporation would need to succeed in their sustainability reporting efforts.
