Introduction
We will be discussing and describing types of reporting procedures that talk about what
type of terrorist groups there are, what we use to identify domestic threats and international
threats and how information is shared across the Department of Homeland Security.
Type of Terrorist Organization
The Aryan Nations is considered to be a domestic terrorist group, From the information
that has been gathered in the scenario they are posing a large threat to air travel and they are also
attempting to recruit more people into their organization to help with carrying this plan out.
Its important to gather information about specific groups in order to know how they
operate, what types of threats they are capable of implementing, where their home station or hub
is located, and how many people they have in their organization. All of this information that is
gathered or the "overreaching" of information is all in order to keep the population safe
Strategies Used to Identify Domestic Threats and Risks
Some of the strategies used for identifying domestic threats and risks is that of
information sharing across all levels within gas well as outside entities and the federal
government. The U.S government shares the information that is gathered on the domestic threats
or organizations and they are able to use that information to help identify what threats and risks
the domestic terrorist have or are going to conduct on their targets.
Strategies Used to Identify International Threats and Risks
Some of the strategies used identifying the international threats is that of information
sharing. While this is a key part for both international and domestic they hold a lot of intelligence
and need to supply the information to all entities. The fusion centers are capable of gathering the
information that is needed in order to label them as domestic or international and see who all is a

part of the organization and what they are capable of doing within their organization. Fusion
centers accomplish this while providing federal government agencies with the critical state and
local information and subject matter expertise. With all of this going on, the fusion centers are
able to share information with the local law enforcement agencies and by doing so this is how
they are able to communicate and keep up with the information.
Information Sharing Within DHS
Information within the department of homeland security is shared within the department
of homeland security through multiple different ways, The ways in which they share information
helps critical infrastructure owners and operators guide investments and implements protective
programs to help ensure effective response to infrastructures as they arise.
