Great post! I do believe a lot of criminals are stigmatized during crimes also. I do believe a lot of people are bias, leading to the offender to be charged a lot harsher than other individuals. It's interesting to look more into the labeling theory to understand it a little more. I think as people look more into the theory they can understand that they need
to treat all criminals equally based on the crime and not stigmatize anyone.
