7-1 Final Project Milestone Three: Revisions (Section II) Lilia Sandoval Southern New Hampshire University OL-620 Total Rewards Linda Jenkins July 24, 2022 Milestone Three (Section II) Revisions: Recommendations The top percent responded as important in the quantitative data and mentioned in the qualitative data. After analyzing both the first and foremost change that needs to be addressed are the starting and current pay for the employees. Pay should be kept competitive to retain our hard-working employees and attract strongly dedicated employees. Employees who see that they will make more for the same position at another job will most likely leave their current company. It's not just the pay that will retain the employees but the benefits and recognition that the company must provide to make them stay. Determining the next recommendation to improve health insurance. As presented in the qualitative data, employees would like health insurance that can provide some type of incentive for employees who keep a check on their health. Just like Medtronic's insurance that provides an earring point system to claim rewards and $20 coverage for a gym membership. This recommendation will motivate the employees to get regular checkups or accumulate steps that will benefit the company by having energized As shown in both qualitative and quantitative data employees would like more PTO and not have to use their PTO as paid sick leave. When companies don't offer sick leave employees feel that their well-being isn't important. Not only do the employees feel uncared for but they will still show up to work, avoid using their PTO, and risk other employees getting sick. Where if sick Ieave is provided employees may seek medical care for their current illness (Heathfield, 2018). Sick leave may also be used when taking care of an ill family member, with the employee's average age where most have children, this will show employees that their family matters and their well-being. Finally recommended that the supervisors revise their evaluations and have the proper training for them. Showing that employees feel like managers aren't noticing the "extra mile" or have no options for safety professional development or general training (Emerging Pharmaceutical and Medtronics Comparison., n.d.). Reevaluating the supervisors and their duty 3 and proper training will help them know what they should be looking for and who they should be promoting/rewarding and provide proper feedback. The recommendations will also follow for part-time employees. Increasing the salary amount for part-time employees, adding PTO/sick leave, and providing proper training will help develop the company. The average of part-time workers is similar to the age and demographics of full-time, which will benefit them especially if they have families. The only issue would be the compensation premium package cost for them to pay. This issue seems to be problematic with other companies as well, which is why most companies don't offer part-time employees health insurance. Regarding all the other recommendations will be beneficial for part-time. This will help the company grow with each full-time and part-time employee. This recommendati
