An example of a program that was created to reduce crime is the Boys and Girls Club of America. How does the program or policy you've chosen attempt to reduce crime? The Boys and Girls Club of America helps out with preventing "strain" by giving other children a more equal playing field with children who are more fortunate than they are (Criminology Wiki, 2022).
