Hello class week 8 came fast, I now have more knowledge of a part of the
healthcare profession that I was previously unaware of thanks to this class. I
focused mostly on choosing practices and gave the administration aspect of
healthcare less consideration. The many themes provided ideas that I found
intriguing, and I want to advance and put myself in the best possible position to
assume a leadership position in the future. I came to understand that firms need mission, vision, and value statements to direct their operations and ensure they
reach their strategic objectives. As a healthcare executive in charge of strategic
planning, my first step will be to review and, if required, rewrite the mission and
vision statements to make sure they are precise and in line with the objectives of
the company. In this module, I also learned about competitive analysis. I am
aware that the healthcare sector is undergoing a revolution as a result of the
adoption of several efficient technology to simplify certain procedures and male
procedures. These strategies have continually attracted new players to the game.
The current ones must routinely use tools like the SWOT to study their rivals.
My key concern as a future manager will be making sure the company I lead
undertakes these analyses in order to keep its competitiveness and control a
substantial market share.Regular competitive analyses will decide whether the
firm needs to modify its approach. I will make sure that the strategies I develop
will align with the objectives of the firm and the competitive pressures that are
evident from the environmental analysis by using the wealth of knowledge I
have received in this class about strategic planning. I now recognize that the
business environment could occasionally be unpredictable, making the success
of the developed strategic strategies difficult. This emphasizes the need for
strategic options the business can take to increase its sustainability and
competitiveness. The last step will involve enhancing the organization's
strategic strategy via value-adding techniques. I'll employ both delivery and
support strategies because they'll be essential to maintaining the equity of
patients, employees, and the healthcare system.Last but not least, the knowledge
I gained in this course will act as a standard for courses to come. Because it
completely covers the crucial topics that every healthcare manager has to be
aware of, it makes a great starting point for modules on healthcare management.
I'll enter these seminars with information and will be more eager to understand
this other aspect of the medical industry less
