Hi class! Can't believe this course is already wrapping up but I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn so much regarding healthcare strategic management and its impact on an organization's trajectory and success. Some key topics that I've learned in this course are the impact an organization's mission and vision statements have on their strategic plans and how managing styles can influence employee productivity and satisfaction. In my future career, I plan on developing an approachable relationship with staff members to build rapport and open communication throughout my department, along with encouraging feedback from the staff to ensure they feel heard by management. Effective management styles that foster growth and development will be my utmost priority to ensure staff members have high morale and drive in the workplace. I plan on using what I've learned throughout this course in my future classes by focusing on developing productive and effective relationships with group members and offering strategic planning methods when identifying new strategies.
