Human Sciences - Find Your Why

Recapping your HUSC Experience: Find Your Why Assignment Although, my scholastic journey to earn a college degree did not immediately begin within the College of Human Sciences, I know today with upmost certainty that this is the exactly where I am destined to be and to conquer. I have always felt that my purpose on this earth was one of two things: to learn, grow, and spread my knowledge throughout to those in my life or to help people in any way, shape, or form necessary to make this world a better place. As I am sitting here now, only a few strides away from reaching the finish line, I believe that I have found my why, and that is to use my ever-growing knowledge to help those around me who need it the most. If it is one thing I have learned thus far being in the College of Human Sciences, it is that I can use both my creative side and my 2 analytical, investigative mind all together at once because if anything, it strengthens my assets to help me conquer any task at hand more efficiently than before. I believe my own personal ideals discussed here relate to Simon Sinek's message behind his TED Talk, "How great leaders inspire action", by choosing to follow your own why instead of just following the same comprehensive plans that are made up of zero substance. Or in other words, take something that inspires you and follow it to wherever you wish to go while inspiring others along the way to do the same. Alike Sinek's approach to ultimate success, Meloncon and Schreiber, examine the importance of capstone courses and their ability to instill not only professional development strategies and understanding but also how they allow students to be able to assess and interpret a given situation to
