UCO MBA Team Contract
Mission Statement
Our team commits to be a reliable and mutually accountable group of peers,who will work together to create an enjoyable, competitive, and productive learning environment through the development of our critical thinking skills and continual evaluation, with an end goal of completing the UCO MBA program for our own personal and professional growth.
Team Goals
Personal andprofessional growth We will play to our strengths: o Take personality & self-assessment tests to understand cach other's personalities. IE:Myers-Briggs,Strengths Deployment Inventory,Kolb's Learning Styles oUtilize skillsets and personality traits in the assigning of tasks for group projects o Accurately reflect and state skill set and apply to strengthen the team's approach to projects.
We will take advantage of professional development opportunities: o Attend at least one function together, each semester and encourage team members to attend other events as they are able. o Share relevant articles, podcasts, etc with the team periodically.
We will aim for 3.5 GPA to help ensure the success of the team and its members.
Reliability We will be present and participative: o Be there for team discussions and weekly meetings and contribute with transparent dialogue. Team meetings will be following classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for about 20-30 minutes. Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed, based on project requirements.
o Use the closed Facebook group as the primary means of communication with team members. This group will be used to share resources, post assignment reminders and tasks, as well as to facilitate open communication.
We will be punctual:
Be courteous of teammatestime by: Team members will arrive to meetings no more than 10 minutes after the agreed upon meeting time. In situations of consistent tardiness, team members will refer to procedures for conflict resolution. o Deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner. Individual contribution deadlines will be clearly outlined in the project planning worksheet. The team agrees to submit all projects 48hrs in advance of project deadline. Communicate with teammates, via text, when outside circumstances may result in a tardiness or absence.
Foster an enjoyable Learning environment: We will respect and value one another. oWe will use speech and behaviors appropriate to an educational environment. Demonstrate positive and engaged body language. Make eye contact. Practice grace. Give undivided attention.
We will listen to one another actively and with an open mind. Consider all team member contributions on their own imerit. Willingness to step outside of the box with the expression of our ideas Practice active listening. Give latitude.
We will practice good etiquette/manners.

Develop Critical Thinking and Evaluation: We will outline and create clear goals for each individual project. (See attachment 1)
