In the article, I will discuss Facebook as a technological innovation and explains how this innovation has changed the world. I will explain the significance of Facebook. The week lecture explained that
business world (. After reviewing the lectures of Case session, I found Facebook as the most relevant and useful technological innovation that aligns with the theories.
Founded in 2003, Facebook has changed the world and the ways people interact with each other
interrelated. Facebook was introduced by a university student, Mark Zuckerberg, as a university project. He formed his own company after the success of Facebook. Doubtlessly, he has a strong grip in needs and demands of its target audience enabling him to introduce different innovative features. Thus, I believed that the journey of Zuckerberg from being an individual to a global company will allow me to make different sources links.
I found Facebook soon has become the widely used social media platform where people sell and purchase products; share their creative content, blogs, news, memes; collaborate with one another,
fast emergence of new products. This is true in case of Facebook as it allows the reach out to the target
customers and promote their products. As explained in the week session that innovation remains slow in
the beginning, then it fastens. Aftering going through the history of Facebook, I have found slow growth in innovation in the beginning but it becomes aggressive when Facebook becomes popular.

Overall, I found that the technological advancement of Facebook is radical, which means it is new and different from already existing social platforms of that time like Orkut,YouTube,or Yahoo.Doubtlessly, Facebook is a creative social platform that proves to be highly efficient and useful for global and general masses. There are different ways through which Facebook has modified the society. It is one of the innovation that contributes in making the products/services available globally. One of the substantial effect of technologies is increasing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) ().
