EC1111 International Economic Policy Autumn 2017 Coursework - Essay (10% of total grades) (33.33% of grades for Autumn Visiting Students) Instructions The Excel File named HDI and CPI Data 2015 in Moodle contains data on the Human Development Index (HDI) and the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) from the year 2015 on almost all countries of the world. For the Essay, you are required to do some simple analyses on the relationship between corruption and the well-being and achievements of the population. You can use any software that you are familiar with, but it is highly recommended that you use Excel for the analysis. The simplest analysis you should be able to perform is a scatter-plot of HDI against CPI in Excel. Make sure that the extended essay is your own individual work and that you do not use external help. Do not copy from anywhere else. Apply your knowledge of the Plagiarism courses you have taken. You should include a reference section at the end of the essay, and use an appropriate style of referencing to write it out. Wikipedia is not an acceptable source of reference and you will be penalised for including it in the reference section.
