The majority of questions answered in the Western group were by people of Western European Descent (110 of 137). The average number of correct responses (out of 8) for this group was 5.36. This means that 67% of the responses from this group were correct. In order to contrast, I learned that the majority of questions in the Non-Western group were by people of East Asian Descent (72 of 131). The average number of correct responses were 4.59, which is a 57% correct response rate.

Chapter 9 of the textbook shares that "Eastern Europeans were more likely to base their decisions on the application of the rule whereas East Asians were more likely to base their decisions on the perceived resemblances of the stimuli" (Steven Heine, 2016).
