Ethical Considerations and Efficacy in Clinical Trials for Rosacea Treatment

I contend that the investigation adheres to the scientific ethical standards. To investigate this study, twenty individuals between the ages of 20 and 60, affected by rosacea were made to wear masks for 4.4 hours a day for 30 days. They were selected at random to apply either M89PF or their usual non-medical skincare on one side of their faces , twice a day. The experiment was randomized, double blind and multi-centered, showing that the experiment was designed to ensure the results were as accurate as possible. obtainment of full consent from participants The treatment also caused minimal adverse effects, and therefore subjects were not harmed involuntarily The treatment also caused minimal adverse effects, and therefore subjects were not harmed involuntarily Patient satisfaction increased between Day 15 and Day 30 for all items questioned. After 30 days of daily use, 80% of the subjects were satisfied or very satisfied with M89PF, 90% would consider using the product again, 75% would recommend it, 90% would continue using it, all would integrate M89PF in their daily routine and no subject was bothered by eventual side effects. Detailed results per item are provided in Figure 4. The local tolerance of M89PF was excellent. adhered to the principles of Good Clinical Practices and the declaration of Helsinki. subjects provided written informed consent prior to participation. Additionally, the written informed consent shows that the experimenters did their best to inform the patients of the risks associated with the experiment before they agreed to participate. Prerequisites for participants in the study were: rosacea associated with erythema and sensitive skin, wear mass for 4.4 hours a day. By having individuals affecte by rosacea participate in the study, we can conclude that the results are valid ; these requirements give an inaccurate representation of the efficacy of the drug for the whole population. It is hypoallergenic and contains no perfume, thus being suitable for subjects with rosacea
