Personal Analysis and Team Role Assessment

PERSONAL ANALYSIS Assignment 1 MGTS1982 Working with groups and teams 21st December 2pm Harry Evans 45624809 1. Using tests provided on Blackboard and any other relevant information contained in the course materials, analyse your personality type, preferred learning style, and team role. Upon analyse of my personality type using the Myers-Briggs test it resulted in a typology of ISFJ. This consists of Introversion, Sensing, feeling and judging. Your score plays an important in constituting your typology. From this test I scored 22 over 17 as an Introvert, 23 over 15 as a Senser, 20 over 18 as a Feeler and finally 27 over 13 as a Judger. These results are interpreted by the following ranges. A score of 20 - 21 shows that the individual has a balance of strengths across the both the personality pair. Whilst a higher result of 22 - 24 shows strength in the dimension while also a weakness in the other dimension pair. Furthermore, a score of 25 - 29 shows clear strengths across the dimension while also showing clear weaknesses in the other. Pragmatist/Theorist is the second most common learning style combination behind Reflector/Theorist. Whilst Pragmatists are practical and down to earth they are also the first to bring new ideas, theories and techniques into the workplace. Furthermore, theorists are able to analyse and think through problems in a logical manner. An executive is focused on getting the job done in the most efficient and practical way whilst organising and motivating the team. This was then followed by 14% Innovator and 14% Driver.
