The development of artificial intelligence (further AI) makes possible the replacement of people teaching students in schools and universities in a near future. However, I completely disagree with this prediction because no technology nowadays can manage effectively teacher's work. Thus, the only other option of changing the traditional face-to-face pattern of education in classrooms is communication between teachers and students through the Internet using online platforms. The main role of teachers is not just to transmit the knowledge to students but to explain this information effectively with the help of variety of strategies: verbal, associative, visual and others. AI is not able to provide each student with his/her particular needs and the most suitable way of teaching, because it is programmed to use the only one pattern and apply to the whole group ignoring individual demands. Conversely, teachers are effectively managing to find a necessary approach and satisfy every student. The ineffectiveness of AI teaching has been proofed in practice in one Estonian school, when one group of pupils had their math lessons taught by AI for 2 weeks. The results showed that more than a half of students had to take extra classes with tutors In order to master topics. In contrast, other group of pupils was taught by teacher and only 10tt had to seek tutor's assistance. Nevertheless, due to development of cutting-edge technologies humans are looking for alternatives and ways of improvement in different arias including teaching. Thus, studying through the Internet and online platforms has attracted a lot of attention of educators in recent years. I strongly believe that on this step of evolution this is the only option to replace the traditional method of education face-to-face in classrooms, because this way is still effective and available everywhere for everyone who has access to the Internet, and only differs from traditional one by type of communication. From my experience, I had to study through several online platforms such as Zoom and Teams during covid. Speaking to teachers through the screen of my devices didn't affect my studies in bad way, I was able to communicate with professors on the same level as it was before 2020 and understand all information provide on lectures. Covid times and lockdown ended, but my alma mater decided to proceed with online education because of its effectiveness, so established programs taught on the same level but not in campus but through special university platform. In conclusion, despite the fact that the role of AI is increasing in different areas of life and many people believe that it can replace a lot of professionals for example in teaching, it seems not possible in next years due to ineffectiveness and lack of individual approaches which make it impossible to replace teacher's work to communicate with students in a proper manner. However, technologies are welcomed to assist teachers in their work, so online education can be the alternative to face-to-face communication in classrooms.
