Such managerial tasks shall include the development of an organisation's agenda and the management of personnel actions to meet these goals through the utilisation of available resources. Management is important to an ordered existence and it is appropriate to operate all forms of management. Strong management is the backbone of good organisations (Student HQ 2020). The aim of this evaluation is to explain the management principle. Theories, concepts or technique can be applied in a specific company enterprise. This essay would explore the organisational concepts of cross-functional teams, motivating employees, workforce diversity and contingency plan. In 1987, Ren Zhengfei, then 44 years old, set up a telecommunications equipment trading company in Shenzhen, China, with a start-up capital of CNY 21,000. At the end of 2014, Huawei had 140,000 staff in more than 140 countries and continents, covering more than a third of the world 's population and leading international patent applications 46% of the employees are involved in research & development (Huawei 2020). According to Encyclopedia (2020), cross-functional teams are defined as groups made up of people from various functional areas within an organisation. Cross-functional departments are a strategic benefit for an organisation. They are like superhero team-ups, where different people with different sets of special abilities work together for one shared cause (Naydenoy, 2019). The cross-functional team puts less focus on the individual positions of participants within the organisation and more emphasis on collaboration and collaborating together to meet organisational objectives. Companies use cross-functional teams to help them deliver successful outcomes more efficiently. As such, the organisations expect these teams to be high-performance teams.
