MGT10001 | ASSESSMENT 3 1 AFTER ACTION REVIEW 2 CONTENTS INTRODUCTION p.3 TEAM WORK p.4 COMMUNICATION p.5 QUALITY MANAGEMENT p.6 PERFORMANCE p.7 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES p.8 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT p.9 CONCLUSION p.10 REFERENCES p.11 APPENDIX p.12-13 INTRODUCTION 3 Throughout the duration of MGT10001, my group and I embarked on a collaborative journey that invited us to unite and master the art of team work. Our goal was to create a high-quality presentation that reflected the business context, roles, external impactors, challenges and key initiatives implemented by a chosen manager in the retail industry. We set out to communicate effectively with each other by implementing key strategies to reach optimal quality and performance whilst strengthening our individual knowledge, skills and abilities. As we drew upon the fundamental aspects of POLC (planning, organising, learning and controlling), we had begun to understand the importance of clear communication, preparation and sharing values in creating a piece of work that reflected the high standards and expectations of multiple people. By utilising multiple platforms of communication, sticking to set deadlines, consistently empowering each other and using our collective values to drive results, we created a presentation that reflected accurately the vision of quality we had set out to achieve.
