When talking to Mark we found out that they are constantly looking for the next new exciting talent, they are always scouting about, and when hiring staff they aim to pick and choose the ones that would best suit the office environment to ensure the happy friendly working space continues. Their clients are there for them to negotiate contracts and deals, as well as profile are always looking for the next success story and their clients are also looking for new opportunities. The challenges that occur in this work place is making sure the brief has been met, and most importantly making sure they satisfy their clients and their needs and aspiration. We discussed with Mark in regards to situations being passive or assertive and he explained that when things are not going in the desired direction it calls for him to be assertive. Though due to his kind of business you must be assertive whilst still being professional and respectful. He achieves this through being calm and level headed though firm when communicating what he wants to achieve. For example, when negotiating contracts, it calls to be assertive, whilst building relationships to create a mutual respect.
