FutureReach: Facilitating Diversity and Inclusion in the Workforce

BUS30024: Advanced Innovative Business Practice Assignment 3: Elevator pitch Joshua Gregory - 102342458 Word Count: 351 https://youtu.be/Y9XjwI8HGGw - link to elevator pitch FutureReach We are FutureReach, a nationally operated organisation that partners with businesses and corporations to assist them in meeting their diversity goals. The challenge Australia's current workforce faces is the glaring disparities in the employment rates of underrepresented minority groups and different cultural backgrounds (Australian Human Rights Commission, 2018). Similar inequality can be seen in women in senior level roles and the working conditions of people with varying types of disabilities. This is where we at FutureReach can be successfully utilised by businesses to provide high level strategic support and solutions to create a diverse workforce and achieve diversity objectives and goals. Our overall objective is to support businesses and organisations in creating equal opportunities for all people. The benefit of our business model is that we can be utilised by businesses both large and small, both public and private. We have the expertise to consult with the head of HR at CommBank, and an hour later be discussing ways we can help a local start-up tech company. This ability allows us to have a fluid customer base which is not industry specific, thereby diversifying our market presence and size in the process. This fluidity sets us apart from other recruitment and consultancy competitors like Hays and Adecco who predominately focus on the recruitment side of business rather than assisting in overall organisational change and diversity inclusion objectives. We are nationally operated with a diverse portfolio of consultants across the major states. The uniqueness of each individual consultant with background in different fields of study allows us to assign a consultant to help a specific business industry. We use our consultants and their business expertise to gain market presence and grow our customer base. We have two revenue streams, a standard recruitment fee for recruitment services and a daily consulting rate, or an agreed flat fee for the delivery of a strategic program. Ultimately, we are a business who want to see real change. If we can be the facilitators of change and equality for organisations and potentially employees, then we know we are a business worth investing in for the future.
