Interview Questions: Summary: I have asked these questions based on being an interviewer for a new and upcoming technology company. The person I am interviewing is 3 years out of university which he conducted a double degree of Arts and Business at Monash university. He has experience with some sort of technology- based programs and in the marketing field. He is currently employed at Marsh and McLennan. 1. What are your salary expectations for this role? - Mediocre due to the lack of experience in the field of technology - 90-100k a year - However, my degree will impact the amount of being paid I believe due to the experience and the prior experience in another organisation. 2. For example, petrol, mobile phone funding etc. - Completely open to other benefits that would impact my contract. - Previously I have had my phone paid for, in addition with petrol for certain times within the business period. - Also open to other bonuses when assessed with my workload and how effective my work ethic is. 5. What is your long-term career goal, and how does your expected compensation align with that goal? - My long-term Career goal is to try stay with a business for a large amount of time and be able to grow, excel and always be able to progress through the business widening my experience and knowledge. - I believe overtime I will eventually be paid more; however, it is not always that way but I am willing to take the time to progress to that stage.
