The campus is only a two-minute walk from the Parramatta Railway Station. More than 60,000 years of Indigenous history make up present-day Parramatta's city and surrounds. The Parramatta area is a great place to explore local Aboriginal culture. The city is expanding with many developments taking place. The city has experienced 60% population growth largely with people between the age of 18-35. The city's major industries of employment include: government, health care, professional scientific and technology, construction, financial, insurance and retail and hospitality. The forecast suggests that in 5-10 years, $10 billion worth of public and private investment will be made thus improving the social and economic outcomes of the city.
