Work can give people a sense of purpose and meaning as well as comes off as a natural option in life, that we need to work when we grow up. Some people can feel connected to their work even if their work is not as glamourous as others. It still means a lot to them. There is a lack of equity in the world, which most people don't understand. It means not all people have the same opportunities in life as others. As many people don't get to choose what field they work in can result in many people working just to go about in their life. It has no meaning, no purpose, except for the means of surviving and keeping their family surviving. This can lead to two options, one of being depressed or stagnant in their life as if every day is just a repeat of the last, and second being life being a stressful day every day.
